Reconeixement europeu a la tasca de la Fundació

L'EASPD, associació europea de proveïdors de serveis per a les persones amb discapacitat, ha atorgat a la Fundació Tutelar de les Comarques Gironines el reconeixement com a bona pràctica de serveis comunitaris de vida independent. Aquesta organització, de la qual la Fundació és membre, representa més d'11.000 organitzacions europees dedicades als serveis socials en matèria de discapacitat. The foundation offers a highly specialised service of mediation for persons with disabilities, regardless of their specific support needs. The foundation acts as mediator between social agents and a complex network of services, whether acting as facilitators, mediators or coordinators of services whatever their support needs may be. They retain an intermediate position between stakeholders in which they improve the lives of people with disabilities by advocating for their rights and empowering them with the ultimate goal to promote their inclusion.
