Her trajectory as an activist and human rights advocate of the “mad movement” includes, among other things, coordinating various collective initiatives for the defence of human rights based on the CRPD from the organisations of psychiatrised people themselves, particularly in legislative amendments and political representation in governmental spaces. As an academic, she has worked at the intersection of human rights regimes, madness, disability, mental health, and welfare policies, from a genealogical perspective with Foucauldian and feminist influences, as well as qualitative and participatory approaches.
Currently a Senior Lecturer at the University of Vic-Central University of Catalonia.
