Global, flexible and individual support
Erasmus+ Project 2017-1-AT01-KA202-035029: Towards person-centred housing services in Europe
This is a project in which the professional needs of persons with disabilities related to their care are worked at home. The European organisations participating in this project as partners are the ASPA Foundation, EASPD the Irish Council for Social Housing, and Jugen am Werk i Zero-Project, along with Support-Girona and Arnau d'Escala Campus Foundation from Girona.
Current policy trends such as deinstitutionalisation, community-based services, person-centred services, and individual care and support at home have led to an increased demand for social housing. This scenario requires training and management of specialists who provide support services to the community, since they are facing more diverse situations and providing support to people with more complex needs when compared to the institutional care and assistance models. TOPHOUSE addresses this challenge and has developed a special training programme to improve the professional practice on the ground and related skills. TOPHOUSE is a project developed with the help of European funding.
The TOPHOUSE project is co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
